DONALD TRUMP appears to be close to declaring a ‘National Emergency” in the event that Congressional Democrats and the White House cannot come to a deal that includes funding for his border wall. All weekend, uh, Trump has made numerous references on Twitter, to, what has been likened to nothing short of martial law for purposes of the wall.

A “Declaration of National Emergency” has never actually been used in America, as, that would mean that the military would essentially become much more involved in society than normal. Also, ehum, it would permit Trump to use “military funding” (think, construction funds for example) to take out a large chunk of $ for purposes of the wall.
