But this time, uh, only if one of her state officials in New York City actually retires or leaves their post. According to Clinton, in this interview, she revealed that “she hasn’t entirely ruled out a run for public office” but it would take a certain set of circumstances for that to ever happen.Â

“If that were to change, if my city councillor were to retire, if my congresswoman were to retire, my senators, and I thought that I could make a positive impact, then I think I would really have to ask my answer to that question,” she said.
