The Daily News to begin charging appropriate taxes on services

As of late, The Daily News has seen service requests in record numbers which has resulted in several visits and notations from Her Majesty ‘s Revenue Department  and taxation authorities.    Therefore, we, are now legally obligated to begin collecting the appropriate VAT tax in the United Kingdom (and sales tax in the United States).

As we operate in both countries,  we, must begin collecting sales tax in both countries to coincide with the law.    In the United Kingdom, the appropriate tax  per the law  is the VAT tax (charged at a 20% rate).     Sales tax in the United States is calculated based on where one is from,  unless, they have tax-exempt status which must be sent to us to be kept on file for all future orders.
