In typical rat-faced GOP fashion, Leslie Gibson, the unopposed GOP candidate for a House seat in Maine — took it way back to the days nobody ever goes.. attacking a child. In tweets (that are now deleted) the GOP representative called 18-year-old Emma Gonzalez a “skinhead lesbian” and a “liar”.
“I would like to extend to you my most sincere apology for how I addressed you. It was wrong and unacceptable,” Gibson said in a tweet. “You are doing work that is important to you. I would like to extend my hand in friendship and understanding to you.”
Apparently the mean tweets first came about after Leslie noticed that Gonzalez far surpassed the NRA in Twitter followers. Ehum, the original tweet.
“There is nothing about this skinhead lesbian that impresses me and there is nothing that she has to say unless you’re a frothing at the mouth moonbat,” he wrote.
