In newly declassified documents, America, has known since at least the early 1990 ‘s that they would be headed for the next big World War.  In the documents, per the AP, America believed that with the help of South Korea’s military — it could take on the North without much question.
Although, this is where it gets interesting.  At the time, 23 years ago,  it was estimated that some 52,000 American service members would either be injured and or lose their lives in a nuclear war. While the number of South Korean troops losing their lives and or facing serious injuries, would, be at nearly 415,000 people.
The news apparently came from declassified documents from the Pentagon.
