PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA — Bad news for Oscar Pistorius, who, is now set to serve 13 years and 5 months in prison for the murder of former girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius, killed Steenkamp in the pre dawn hours of Valentines Day 2013 claiming he mistook her for an intruder. On Friday, a High Court judge doubled his sentence to 13 years after an appeals decision was upheld in South Africa’s highest court.
Pistorious, turned 31 on Wednesday.
