There’s an asteroid in the shape of a cigar, that, uh, has apparently made its way for planet earth. According to scientists, the asteroid has been identified as 1I/2017 U1, or ‘Oumuamua (Hawaiian for “messenger” or “scout”).
Social media, however, has ignited with conspiracy theories with most pointing to the fact that its name actually means messenger or scout in Hawaiian.
The asteroid is apparently the first scientists have ever actually discovered to physically come from a different solar system entirely. The 1-300 foot long asteroid reportedly was built of molecules which are as everybody knows essential parts to human life.
