Even bigger royal-adjacent news this weekend. According to the UK’s Sec of Defence, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor formerly Prince Andrew is now also set to lose his naval titles. Andrew has been in hot water recently after renewed public scrutiny over his associations with Jeffrey Epstein the infamous American pedophile whose cases and crimes shocked the world. Andrew was the rank of Vice Admiral.
First awarded in 2015, removing his naval title on top of his other losses amounts to one of the most extraordinary professional career downfalls in recent memory. Officials on Sunday told BBC One’s Sunday programme that the move had been set in motion following the King’s royal warrant earlier this week, which brought down Andrew once and for all.
In case it couldn’t get worse it does. On top of it all this weekend also marked a pivotal moment in uncovering the many lies of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Despite previous claims that he had ceased communication with Epstein following his conviction — in 2010 he personally emailed Epstein seemingly very friendly following his prostitution conviction. It directly contradicts previous claims that around the same time, Andrew had claimed he had stopped talking to Epstein entirely.
