Another baffling heist is making headlines. According to reports, the NYPD is investigating a bizarre daylight heist that ransacked a loaded Queens home earlier this month. Thieves apparently dressed as construction workers broke into the home swiping more than $3.2m in pricey jewels.

In a photograph released by the NYPD on 16 October two men dressed asconstruction workersquite literally rolled up on a Queens home in broad daylight.

The Lowdown

According to police, the NYPD is investigating a high-value heist this week after an apparent group of thieves ransacked a Queens home and made off with a safe that had millions in jewels in it. The robbery reportedly happened in the Jamaica Hills neighborhood of Queens.
