Kim Davis the woman who a few years ago refused to hand over a lawful marriage license to a same-sex couple is once again back in the news. According to reports, the disgraceful former city clerk is now trying to flat out overturn the right to same-sex marriage nationwide.

The Lowdown

Kim Davis the disgraced city clerk who hatefully a few years ago refused to perform her job ouy of religious objection is once again trying to force her beliefs on others. According to reports, the Supreme Court has agreed to set a date to hear her case that would have profound consequences for America if she were to be successful. First, she is seeking to throw out the huge fine she owes for infringing on the rights of the previously reported gay couple at the centre of her last controversy. The difference this time effects everyone.

SCOTUS has set 7 November as the date to consider the case a whole. Critics have already pounced on the case calling it a longshot. The Advocate notes that lawyers for Davis argue that the 2015 ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges has no basis in the constitution.
