A familiar territory for the Royal Family has once again become the centre of attention. According to reports, The Duchess of York has found herself on the receiving end of criticism after newspapers on Sunday published a 2011 e-mail in which she appeared to suggest that Epstein was a ‘supreme friend.’
But the problems are only just getting started again.
The Lowdown
A shocking e-mail between Jeffrey Epstein and the Duchess of York has surfaced. According to newspaper reports out Sunday, the 2011 e-mail is only just now surfacing for the first time. In it the Duchess of York can be seen praising Epstein as a ‘supreme friend’ though that wasn’t the only problem present. Just weeks prior to the reported e-mail, The Duchess distanced herself from Epstein. In response to the e-mail, Fergie released a statement on Sunday citing that the e-mail was sent in response to claims that Epstein would sue her for defamation at the time.
In case it couldn’t get any worse it does. In an interview that year, Fergie not only distanced herself from Epstein but claimed that her friendship with him was an ‘enormous’ lapse of judgement.
