- How is Bazaar Daily funded?
Bazaar Daily is wholly funded by Bazaar Universe, the parent organization of my digital operations. Funds from my other ventures fund the operations at Bazaar Daily News, meaning that Bazaar Daily accepts no funds from outside sources beyond reader donations.
2. What is the biased rating of Bazaar Daily News?
We are actually in the process of formally requesting a biased rating from an official source.
3. Why aren’t investors allowed?
By technicality, Bazaar Daily News was never meant to be for profit. Up until about five years ago, display ads and sponsored posts didn’t exist beyond here and there. Even as they became more prevalent over the years, our mission remained the same, if we are going to profit it will be done the right way. That simply means that we only profit from legitimate sources.
4. Why doesn’t Bazaar Daily News platform political commentators?
Partially for the same reason we don’t dabble in celebrity gossip. It’s not that I’ve never not authorized politically charged articles like that, however, Bazaar Daily News will never platform extremism and this is regardless of political affiliation. We are a platform built by real people that real people depend on that one would go against the values I/we have here.
5. More on the financial status of Bazaar Daily News
Remarkably, and this is probably one of my shining achievements in business — Bazaar Daily News does not actually have any known financial debts on any continent. I built Bazaar Daily with the idea in mind that I wanted it and its associated operations to be entirely self-sustaining (even to the point that I myself often rarely ever actually work beyond writing headline stories.)
Some might argue this is why my company is valuable and therefore that may explain the influx of investors who have gone to obscene lengths to try and contact me over the years. As I have said many times over Bazaar Daily News will never be sold, it was never meant for real profit beyond an occasional sponsored post.
6. What else does Bazaar Daily do?
Bazaar Daily offers a wide variety of services both digital and in person. Through our newspaper division, we offer: advertising, sponsored posts, guest posts, article writing, PR services, press release publications, advertising services, ad-buying and selling, and the list is quite long.
That is only the beginning of Bazaar Universe. Through our home department we offer: interior design services (upcoming), general cleaning services (residential/commercial), and lawn and exterior homecare.
Through our retail department we offer: petcare and grooming services, travel guide services, discounted air travel tickets and hotel bookings, book ghosting writing services, homework services, the list is long.
Through our multimedia department we offer: photography services, video production and editing services, social media management services, publicist-related services, the list is quite long.
So I’d like to dispel once again a persistent rumor I’ve heard over the years. This was never about the money, I very intentionally built an ecosystem that has for nearly my entire life carried me. That was the intent I never wanted to work again and that mission has been accomplished. What I do now is something I enjoy so I don’t consider it work.
7. Why there aren’t many if any photographs shared of me.
I expanded on this a little in the last edition of Coming Clean but I’ll expand some more. It still shocks me to this day who I eventually find out reads Bazaar Daily News. I’ve also been targeted by people I’ve written about before and the subject of false accusations against my person as a result of things I’ve written about others in an effort to discredit me.
I simply don’t want to be bothered when the lights go off for the night and Bazaar Daily News goes quiet for the night.
This was never some diabolical operation to conceal my identity for wrong reasons. It was part safety as mentioned before and entirely that I enjoy my quiet (as I can have it) life even though I double as a successful writer.
8. Addressing claims of my political stance.
This is also a common question I’ve seen over the years and even recently. While I won’t discuss my personal political views, I will say that politics has become poison though it appears it was meant to be that way. The divide and conquer script at play that many seem to miss. Despite my lack of publicly available political affiliation I will note: women deserve equal rights, black and brown folks shouldn’t be discriminated against, men aren’t always right, small government should be a thing (the bigger the worse), free speech matters party sold separately (but there are consequences), one can gather where I’m going with that.
9. What inspired COMMON?
COMMON is perhaps my most favorite part of Bazaar Daily News. It is our state of the art investigative arm of Bazaar Daily News that has investigated and exposed stories that have at one point or another gone viral. COMMON is probably best known for exposing stories that deal with corruption.
10. How do I spend my days?
I like to meditate, read on my kindle, write poetry, or one may easily find me eating tacos somewhere. These days I spend allot of time learning different things I kind of feel like a walking encyclopedia.
11. Why I don’t chase celebrity culture for myself.
I was fortunate enough to have come up with an idea that changed my life forever. That was enough for me and as it turns out was enough for me to live a comfortable life. I find celebrity culture rather excessive and Hollywood-related events rather dull at times. I’ve been to a handful of them over the years but stopped going after the car crash a few years ago.
12. On Bazaar Daily ‘s early role in the fappening.
Firstly, I want to formally apologize for our role in the fappening that happened a few years ago. I still get this question to this day asking why we permitted that to happen to begin with. And frankly, it was a bad decision that should have never passed the smell test. I on behalf of Bazaar Daily News sincerely apologize to all the women who were mentioned during this era of Bazaar Daily.
13. Expanding on why I hid behind ‘The Collective’
What they don’t tell you about finding success as a child is that it messes with your mental health. What they also don’t tell you is that doing so without a support system may end up devastating you later in life. I hid behind the Collective as a means to hide my success from my adopted mother, and, because I had literally no self-worth I battled the worst case of imposter syndrome. I felt that my successes would be more accepted if they were seen as from a group rather than me individually. I initially lacked the self-confidence required to step into the sudden big shoes I had landed myself in.
14. What was the hardest moment of my career?
As often as some people like to pretend these things don’t happen it by a long are those moments where I’ve had or indirectly had to prove myself as a person of color in a position of power (especially when properly negotiating deals or other things.)
I will continue to answer more questions in the next edition of Coming Clean on Saturday.
