Why I came clean about the Collective

Dearest friends,

    Some of you have already seen the big confession:  Bazaar Daily Collective was only in name rather than a real entity.   For many years I secretly ran Bazaar Daily through the Collective to make it look like other people owned it, so those around me wouldn’t be able to get their hands on it.

Now that the truth is known about the Collective I am finally free to enter into partnerships.  Partnerships and the like weren’t previously allowed because Bazaar Daily was hidden behind The Collective.  It took me a very long time to finally monetize Bazaar Daily because I didn’t want to monetize the network and then those around me benefit from it. 

It took a very long time to get to this point because I didn’t want anyone else to be able to take credit for my work.  As I look forward to the future of Bazaar Daily News,  I will always stand true to the following:

• Paywalls won’t exist.
• Ads will never be offensive or spammy.
• I will always chase the truth and ask that of my contributors as I always have.

What I hope to do now that the secret is out of the bag:

• Enter into formal partnerships
• Fundraise (a powerful tool in place of paywalls)
• Continue to investigate the stories and other that people actually care about.
