Half a million displaced following devastating floods in Pakistan

For the first time in the country’s history, all three major rivers in the Punjab provinence flooded.

The Lowdown

Tragic has struck in Pakistan. According to reports, nearly half-a-million people have been displaced following severe flooding in eastern Pakistan.  It comes as the country struggles with a whirlwind of devastation that started way back in June. Officials at the Punjab Disaster Management  Authority say that least 835 people have died since 26 June with 195 in the Punjab area alone.
