Cracker Barrel addresses backlash over its logo change as chain seeks to draw in new customers

Despite intense backlash Cracker Barrel is sticking by its updated logo. According to its website, the chain has confirmed that the new logo will stay despite complaints to the contrary.

The Lowdown

U.S based Cracker Barrel is finding itself on the receiving end of backlash.  Over the weekend, Cracker Barrel announced a new logo featuring a simplified logo featuring just its name rather than the previous  logo which featured its name and a visage of Uncle Herschel.

“If the last few days have shown us anything, it’s how deeply people care about Cracker Barrel. We’re truly grateful for your heartfelt voices,” the company said Monday on their website. “You’ve also shown us that we could have done a better job sharing who we are and who we’ll always be.”
