As some expected even those with full legal status in the United States aren’t safe from Trump’s immigration crackdown. According to the State Department, all 55 million visa holders are now subject to additional vetting and screening.

Big developments in the immigration crackdown in the United States. According to the State Department, legal visa holders are now being subjected to further vetting processes in order to keep their status in the country.
“People with indicators of overstays, criminal activity, threats to public safety, engaging in any form of terrorist activity, or providing support to a terrorist organization” will have their permits to live in the US revoked and be deported, the State Department said Thursday.
The department is looking for ‘deportable offenses’ but it remains unclear what that means given the administration’s changing definition of such.
