The fall of  Sean Kingston and his mother Janice Eleanor Turner is back in the headlines.   According to the case,  Kingston is headed to prison for 3 1/2 years for his role in the joint fraud scheme he perpetrated with his mother Janice.  For her role in the scam, Turner was sentenced last month to five years in prison.

As we previously reported,  the pair was arrested in May 2024 after raids were ordered on Kingston ‘s rented mansion in Fort Lauderdale Florida.   At the time, only Turner was arrested and taken into custody as Kingston wasn’t arrested until  he was found on Fort Irwin — an Army training base in California ‘s scorching Mojave Desert.

Court papers show that Kingston used social media between April 2023 and March 2024 to arrange purchases of numerous high-end pieces of merchandise.   It is a remarkable fall for someone who previously had a promising music career.
