‘Biblical’ floods hit Texas killing 32 people including 14 children as search and rescue teams race to locate 27 more people

Tragic and unfortunate news in Texas this weekend. According to officials, biblical-like floods struck parts of the state leaving dozens including children dead.   The search and rescue remains underway for at least 27 missing young girls who vanished as the floods hit.

The Lowdown

According to reports, officials in Texas are reeling this weekend following devastating floods in the area.   By Saturday evening, according to The Guardian, some 32 people have been confirmed dead which including at least 14 young children.  A  wider search and rescue remains underway for at least 27 additional missing young girls.

Officials have not fully identified all of the victims of the natural disaster yet.  Per the National Weather Service, a flash flood warning is in effect for Burnet, Bertram, Watson, Marble Falls, Granite Shoals, and Liberty Hill.
