The Lowdown

According to the manufacturer, Freshrealm, some ready-to-eat chicken fettucine Alfredo meals have been voluntarily recalled amid 3 deaths and 16 hospitalizations related to these food items.  Freshrealm issued the recall starting Tuesday for their refrigerated chicken fettuccine Alfredo meals sold across America at Kroger and Walmart stores.  They appear under Marketside and Home Chef brand names.

The oubreak is tied to a deadly outbreak of listeria. The deaths in the matter occurred in Illinois, Michigan, and Texas.
