Disgraced ex-adult film star Austin Wolf has officially copped to his sex crimes against children. During a hearing in Manhattan federal court today, Wolf’s real name is Justin Heath Smith, entered his plea.
The Lowdown
Former adult film star Austin Wolf has pleaded guilty to a single career-ending charge which is to engage in sexual activity with a minor. On Friday in open court, the disgraced man had this to say about his actions.
“In late 2023 or early 2024, I induced a 15-year-old to engage in a sex act, I don’t remember through text or [social media], but phones were used. I know what I was doing was wrong,” Smith, 44, told the court on Friday.
“I apologize. I knew it was wrong when I did it. I don’t blame anyone else for my conduct. [although] It was another person engaging in the conduct. I take full 100 percent responsibility for my actions and I am prepared for the consequences,” he said.
The case against Wolf also includes crimes of interstate commerce, enticing a minor to engage in activity in the facility of another individual, and oral sex with an individual younger than 17 years old.
What happened?
The case against Wolf is jarring, to say the least. Most prominently, in April 2024, federal authorities raided his Manhattan home where they discovered more than 200 videos of child porn on an SD card. In one of the the shocking videos, prosecutors revealed in the case, that it featured a 10 year old child being bound and raped, it cannot be understated that such only scratches the surface of Wolf’s crimes.
According to the case against him, he faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life.
