Shocking news in Oklahoma this weekend amid reports that a beloved blues singer has been found dead. According to reports, Selby Minner, 75, died over the weekend after allegedly being murdered by her own brother. According to McIntosh County, he has been identified as Carl Guenther, 68, who also allegedly confessed to the grisly crime.
What happened?
According to the case, the case against Guenther emerged after residents of the town caleld Rentiesville reported a man sitting for hours at the town ‘s Honey Springs Battlefield historic site. In case it couldn’t get anymore shocking it does.
Guenther was approached by police after the report came in and was found with what appeared to be blood on his persons and was also clutching a blood-soaked hammer. In a twist of fate, he upon approach confessed to officers how he had killed his own sister and then sent them to find her body at the local blues club.
The Oklahoman also reports that the psychotic sibling admitted to officers that he had made the plans to carry out her execution on Monday. Shocking court documents revealed that he viciously and violently beat her with a hammer and stabbed her in the eye.
Guenther is currently locked up in the McIntosh County jail.
