Manhunt continues for political assassin Vance Boelter in Minnesota

Gunman Vance Boelter, 57,  is believed to have left the Minneapolis region following the double-shooting involving the deaths of one legislator and her husband and the wounding of another political couple.

The Lowdown

The hunt continues today for the gunman accused of shooting deaths of a lawmaker and her husband and the wounding of  another political couple.  Boelter, according to the FBI, has been added to the agency ‘s most wanted lists.

Boelter is accused of gunning down Representative Melissa Hortmand and her husband, at their home, according to the case against him.  Boelter is also accused of attempting to gundown Democratic state Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, who he gravely injured during the attacks.  That couple is understood to have at least for now survived emergency surgery.

FBI

Boelter ‘s photographs have been sent to border officials in the event he tries to flee to Canada according to several reports. Some reports claim that Boelter may have left the area, he is considered armed and dangerous.

Some eery reports suggest that he left a list of other intended targets at the shooting scene. Multiple outlets claim these lists were compiled of pro-choice lawmakers and included numerous reproductive health clinics.  The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to his apprehension and conviction.
