Nearly two weeks after Travis Decker picked up his young daughters for a routine visit he remains at large and in the wind.  The manhunt for Decker, 32, continues this weeked in a mountainous central part of Washington State. He is wanted in connection to the brutal slayings of all 3 of his young daughters on 30 May.

Officials in Washington state continue their manhunt this weekend for alleged child killer Travis Decker. According to authorities, the search goes on in a central mountainous part of Washington where the U.S army trained Dad was last seen. The search for Decker began after the mother of his children, Whitney Decker, reported them missing on 30 May when they were not returned from their routine visit with Travis.
The case involves the deaths Paityn Decker, 9; Evelyn Decker, 8 and Olivia Decker, 5, on June 2, according the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office. On June 9 just a few days after they were reported missing all three deaths were declared shocking homicides by ]ocal medical examiners in Wenatachee Washington.
What to know about Travis Decker
According to police, he is a U.S Army Veteran though at the time of the disappearance and later murders of his girls he was homeless. Police say that he was reportedly living out of a white 2017 GMA Sierra pick up when he allegedly took the girls for a visit and did not return. Because he is militarily trained, some police fear that he may have an advantage due to his experience. Some early reports on Decker claim that prior to the deaths of his girls he may have suffered from extensive mental health struggles.
On 10 June, the search for Decker intensified following a credible tip near Colchuck Lake in the Enchanme time, a witness reportedly told police that a man had been spotted deeply unprepared in the area (given the weather conditions) who was later tracked to the area of the Ingalls Creek Trailhead on U.S route 97.
