Officials at Veterans Affairs are stuck with a conundrum this week following a jarring report by The Guardian. According to the report,  the Trump Admin has blocked doctors and scientists from publishing in medical journals at the agency.  But it gets worse.

The Lowdown

According to a striking report by The Guardian, Trump ‘s efforts to censor information and other from Americans just took on a bizarre new direction.   The Guardian discovered that at Veterans Affairs doctors and scientists have been put on notice that they’re not allowed to speak to the public or publish med journals without political approval first.

The bizarre move almost certainly to be challenged reportedly came in an e-mail by Curt Cashour,  the agency ‘s assistant Secretary for public and intergovernment affairs, and John Bartrum,  a senior adviser to VA Sec Doug Collins.

It all appears to be a broader part of the Trump regime ‘s efforts to censor various kinds of information from Americans and comes after previous censorship involving governmennt healthcare related websites were erased at the onset of his second term.
