The Lowdown
New developments in the case of 10 people who literally bust out of jail earlier this week (but several have since been caught.) NBC News reports that  officials have charged Sterling Williams, 33, with aiding the jail escape from the inside. Officials apparently caught wind of Williams involvement alleging that he turned off the water to the toilet that was torn out prior to the escape so they could escape.
Though despite his alleged involvement he is not understood to be the only one involved.   NBC also suggests that jail officials are investigating others as potentially involved in the brazen scheme. Officials aren’t sure whether or not Williams actually knew what the escapees were up to despite evidently shutting off the water.
Williams per officials is facccing 10 counts of asssisting escape and one count of malfeasance while in office.
