Police in Jalisco, Mexico, are investigating a brazen daylight assassination of a popular beauty influencer, Valeria Marquez, who was only 23 at the time of the attack.
The Lowdown
According to El Imparcial, Marquez was attacked on Tuesday outside her salon. She died of a bullet to the chest and the head in the shocking attack that saw a motorbike-riding gunman pretend that he was delivering a parcel to her and brazenly open fire instead.
She was livestreaming across her social media channels during the murder. She died at the scene at her Blossom Beauty Salon in Jalisco, Mexico, on Tuesday.
Police haven’t yet located the gunman but are pursuing the case with importance.
