Diddy’s Trial: Testimony wraps as day one of federal trial comes to an end

Day one of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs federal tracfficking case has come to an end. Just before 5pm, Judge Subramanian adjourned court until tomorrow morning.

The Lowdown

The first full day of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs federal trial in New York City has wrapped.  The day ended with the defense examining a key witness, Daniel Phillip, a stripper who testified that he aws paid thousands of dollars to have sex with Cassie as an alleged perverted Combs watched.

Another key testimony emerged also.  According to that testimony,  Phillip also testified that during the era Cassie was abused there was more than one instance of alleged violence. ‘I heard her yelling’ ‘I’m sorry I’m sorry’ and that someone at the time was heard being slammed and pushed around.

The same testimony also revealed more instances of alleged violence.  Phillip also claimed that he witnessed Diddy assault Cassie on another separate occasion because she didn’t come when called to his side.

“I heard him yell out, ‘Babe, come here,'” Phillip said, adding that Cassie then asked for a moment more time as she finished working on her computer.

“Combs came out of the room and I saw a liquor bottle fly past her and hit the wall,” he told jurors. “He grabbed her by her hair and dragged her by the hair into the bedroom. She was screaming and he pulled her into the bedroom. And what I heard sounded like him slapping her.”

Allegations of instructions given during sex with Cassie

In regards to the allegations that Diddy was often in charge during his alleged ‘freak offs’ and similar gatherings — it was also alleged that Diddy would often forcibly provide instructions to  Phillip on how to perform during sex with Cassie.  Those instructions reportedly included role play scenarios, when to orgasm, where Diddy wanted Phillip to ejaculate, and specifically what sex acts to actually perform.

Allegations of bribery

According to  the case, a former guard Mr Glorez testified that he took cellphone video after responding to the 2016 incident between Cassie and Diddy at the Intercontinental Hotel.   Florez claimed that at the time he took the video because he thought his own wife wouldn’t believe him if he had told her what happened.  At the time, no charges were pressed as Cassie wanted to leave after the incident.

What to expect tomorrow.

Daniel Phillip the male escort who testified today is expected to continue on the stand tomorrow.  He is not permitted to speak to anyone including his attorney even overnight in the meantime.
