In Donald Trump v Harvard University the political showdown over the school’s refusal to capitulate to Trump ‘s demands has left the school unimpressed.

The Lowdown

Donald Trump ‘s internal revenue service is planning a big move against Harvard.   First reported by CNN,    the IRS is planning to revoke the top-school’s tax-exempt status because it refused to capitulate to demands made by the Trump Administration (some of which included ditching so-called DEI practices at the school.)

For starters, it is illegal for Donald Trump to direct the IRS to conduct an investigation or audit (all of which are for very obvious reasons.)

Several schools including fellow top school Stanford University have all voiced their support (and its growing) for Harvard.   Harvard is by several quantifiable measures one of the most prestigious schools in the world and is aiming to protect its independence from Trump ‘s regime.
