More than 100 cats feared dead after blazing fire at Long Island cat sanctuary: Investigators

Heartbreaking news on Long Island today. According to investigators, police are looking into a fire that occurred at a local cat sanctuary.

The lowdown

The fire reportedly occurred off of Dourland Road in Medford around 7:15 a.m. Police say one man is dead with at least 100 cats also feared dead in the blaze. The deceased has been identified as  Christopher Arsenalt with the fire occurring at the Happy Cat Sanctuary.
