The infamous woman Yolanda Saldivar perhaps best known for being the woman who murdered Tejano music legend Selena is reportedly up for parole. According to reports, the murderer has served 30 years of a life sentence.
The Lowdown
Yolanda, now 64, has been detained since 1995 after fatally shooting Selena during a confrontation over tax records at the Days Inn motel in Corpus Cristi, Texas.
Saldivar is eligible for parole as of 30 March though upcoming hearings may or may not go her way.
According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, an application for parole review has been filed but there is no set date on when or if the decision will be announced according to CBS News.

According to the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole Yolanda Saldivar has been denied parole in the murder of Tejano music Queen Selena. Saldivar will continue to serve out her life sentence in Texas with her case becoming eligible for parole again in 2030.
