Israel ‘s latest move against Gaza has courted even more controversy. Just a week after cutting off food and aid supplies, power has been cut to the area.
The Lowdown
According to the Associated Press, Israeli officials have instructed Israel ‘s power company to stop selling power to Gaza. It is the latest move by the Israeli government that has been dubbed a part of Benjamin Netanyahu ‘s ‘starvation policies.’
The same policies also landed Netanyahu in the crosshairs of the International Criminal Court last year which issued a warrant for his arrest. Much of what remains of Gaza now runs on generators.
