And if you’re a regular at Dunkin look away this might be sad.  According to  officials, a possible listeria contamination has resulted in the recall of 2m doughnuts and pastries nationwide.

The Lowdown

In an announcement, the FDA announced that the recall is from  FGF brands and was voluntary on behalf of the company.    If you get a doughnut with your coffee say at Dunkin Doughnuts temporarily don’t. Dunkin is one of many places that use  the supplier affected.

FGF is a pastry factory that delivers its goods throughout the United States and Canada.

Important information

This recall is in response to concerns from officials that pastries from this factory were made in a facility exposed to possible listeria.   The products affected were all made before 13 December and include: French crullers, coffee rolls, eclairs, and a mix of raspberry, chocolate, and Bavarian-style doughnuts.
