Shocking news over at Fox Sports this week. According to a lawsuit, the network’s exec VP Charlie Dixon has been accused of sexual assault for a second time.
The Lowdown
According to the New York Times, Fox Sports exec VP Charlie Dixon is back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The Times discovered that former FS1 host Julie Stewart-Binks recently sued Dixon over claims he sexually assaulted her. The complaint dates back to around the Super Bowl in 2016 when Stewart-Binks would have been ‘preparing’ for a SB assignment at the time. She claims that Dixon invited her to a hotel bar to discuss the assignment but things quickly took a bad turn.
From there, Dixon ‘s alleged commentary not only got rough but misogynistic. He allegedly told her after hurling insults at her over her talent and looks that “The only way someone would watch you is if you got on top of this bar and took your top off.”
But it gets worse. She also claims that she was ‘invited’ back to Dixon ‘s room at the time in which she felt she had to say yes — but that too quickly turned bad after Dixon allegedly forced himself on her inside the room and shoved her against a wall before forcibly kissing her closed mouth.
