Disgraced former politician and lawyer Rudy Giuliani has settled with the two election workers he notoriously defamed in the case that threatened to take everything from him. According to reports, he will get to keep his property and others with conditions.

The Lowdown

Rudy Giuliani’s legal nightmares (are somewhat over.) According to reports, Giuliani announced on Thursday that he had settled with Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss. The two women are the women Giuliani notoriously defamed with his lies about the 2020 U.S. presidential election when he would’ve been serving as a lawyer for then-President (and now President-elect) Donald Trump.

With the settlement, Giuliani is expected to keep his homes and his most prized possessions. However, his ability to keep his possessions does come with a few conditions. With those conditions, Giuliani is barred from ever defaming them again.

“This litigation has taken its toll on all parties. This whole episode was unfortunate,” Giuliani posted on X after the settlement was announced. “I and the Plaintiffs have agreed not to ever talk about each other in any defamatory manner, and I urge others to do the same.”
