Meta who has been in the news lately (for the reversal of basically every policy that made even a shred of sense) is readying more bad news for those at the company. According to Zuck, some 3.6k people are expected to lose their jobs this cycle.

Mark Zuckerburg has once again announced layoffs at Meta this time to the tune of thousands of people. According to Bloomberg, the outlet places the number roughly at 3.6k expected to be let go after being categorized as ‘low performing.’
The news comes after Facebook reversed every moderation policy it had; unironically now allows women to be called property, the denial of all climate change-related information, arrival of ‘community notes’ instead of actual fact-checkers, and unamusingly decided to allow its platform to label transgender people as ‘it.’
