Home where Britney Murphy lived and died, and Britney Spears thought was haunted is up for sale again

Perhaps infamous for many reasons the home once occupied by Britney Murphy and previously Britney Spears is once again up for sale. The haunted house has quite a telling history.

The Lowdown

People Magazine reports that the infamous Hollywood home of the late Britney Murphy is once again back on the market. Bought from pop legend Britney Spears in 2003, though stunning the restyled home has quite a spooky history. In 2009, Murphy under circumstances that later were called ‘untreated pneumonia’ died in the home at the age of 32.

The listing price? $17m.

Five months later her husband Simon also died at the property. Prior to Murphy’s ownership of the home, the home also had quite the past when Britney Spears resided at the storied address. In one instance, Spears claimed that ‘odd’ things were happening and eventually left the home all together the year prior to it being sold.
