Luigi Mangione, 26, the alleged gunman behind the murder of Brian Thompson has been identified. As reported by Bazaar Daily, the suspect was arrested in Altoona Pennsylvania after being spotted at a Mcdonalds restaurant.
The Lowdown
Mangione according to his social media profiles is former Ivy-Leaguer who may have committed murder as a ‘political’ stunt. On Monday it was reported that police discovered quite a number of things on his persons during his arrest including: a manifesto, a ghost gun, and a U.S passport. Mangione was collared by police in Altoona after a Mcdonald ‘s worker in the area reportedly recognized the alleged assassin.

Some reports suggest he was also found with a fake ID the same one he used to allegedly check into the now infamous Upper West Side hostel where he had secretly been. Mangione according to his social media presence attended Gilman High School before graduating from UPenn receiving both a bachelors and a masters degree.
