According to Trump, Charles Kushner is set to be nominated to be the next U.S Ambassador to France in a move that has sparked wild reactions. Kusher previously had a criminal record for felony tax evasion but only served about 14 months in federal prison.
‘He is a tremendous business leader, philanthropist, [and] dealmaker, who will be a strong advocate representing our Country & its interests,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social.Â
