Kushner who was previously pardoned by Donald Trump in his last administration is poised to be nominated to be the next U.S Ambassador to France. The move of course has sparked mixed reactions.

Donald Trump is keeping his administration picks close to home. According to Trump, Charles Kushner is set to be nominated to be the next U.S Ambassador to France in a move that has sparked wild reactions. Kusher previously had a criminal record for felony tax evasion but only served about 14 months in federal prison.

‘He is a tremendous business leader, philanthropist, [and] dealmaker, who will be a strong advocate representing our Country & its interests,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social.
