The much talked about congestion pricing is back from the dead. According to reports, the new plan is being rolled out at a reduced price.

The Lowdown

According to Gothamist, Gov Hochul reportedly plans to re-announce the program at a discounted rate. The new rate according to the report stands at $9 though sources claimed that Hochul plans to leave the door open to eventually raise the price.

The $9 fee will represent passenger cars according to the information shared. The new pricing scheme is expected to be approved by the MTA during their next meeting on 20 November.
