Supporters of Amendment 4 in the state are facing ‘visits’ from law enforcement officials over their support. The visits all appear to be part of a coordinated DeSantis campaign.

What is Amendment 4?

According to the amendment, A4 for short, is essentially an amendment to the state’s constitution that would otherwise enshrine a woman’s right to an abortion indefinitely. It would also prevent government intervention before fetus viability. What’s happening?

The Guardian reports that state agencies and law enforcement personnel are being used against people who are known to have or are perceived to support the amendment change. Residents of the state have recently reported quite the uptick in visits from law enforcement, and in some instances, the reasoning behind the so called visits appears to be trumped up claims.
