Caroline Ellison, the former girlfriend of Sam Bankman-Fried is going to prison. According to reports, a judge formally sentenced her yesterday to two years in prison.
Judge Lewis Kaplan who oversaw the case issued the ruling in a Manhattan court room to a visibly upset Ellison.
Kaplan on his part praised Ellison’s full and genuine cooperation that led to SBF’s imprisonment for the fall of his crypto firm FTX.
