They thought they were getting pricey Warhol paintings now they claim fraud: Suit

A Florida family is feeling the bite after allegedly being duped into buying $6m worth of fake Andy Warhol Paintings. According to a suit filed in Florida,  Les Roberts and Miami Fine Art Gallery were named as the alleged dupesters.

The Lowdown

The New York Times reports that a Florida family is seeking more than $6m after they say they were sold a series of fake Andy Warhol paintings.  Also per the New York Times. Matthew, Judy, and Richard Perlman notably claim that the gallery and its director went to ‘unusual’ lengths to convince them of the authenticity only to turn around and pose as an official from the actual Andy Warhold foundation.
