Some 12 people are dead today after a boat carrying dozens of migrants ‘tore apart’ in the English Channel.

According to Sky News, some 65 people have been rescued so far after the bottom of the boat ‘tore apart’ and open. Rescue operations remain underway and an investigation is ongoing.
