According to reports, Nicolàs Maduro just received even more bad news amid controversy over his refusal to prove he won Venezuela’s election.

The DOJ reports that Maduro’s Falcon 900EX aircraft was seized in the DR over the weekend after what the Feds say was an illegal acquisition to begin with. DOJ claims that the plane was illegally acquired in the United States and then smuggled out of the country for Maduro’s benefit.
It is the latest development for Maduro who in recent weeks is understood to have lost Venezuela’s election— but still refuses to concede to his rivals. The plane was flown to Florida on Monday after its seizure.
