According to reports, the 26-year-old man has turned himself in to German authorities on claims that he is the suspect responsible for planning and carrying out the heartbreaking attack.

New information about the reported Islamic state member who attacked a German festival on Friday is making its way to the public. According to Dusseldorf police, in a joint statement with investigators, the 26-year-old man who has not yet been named has turned himself in. The man claims he carried out the attack, although, ISIS itself has claimed responsibility for the attack all together.
His arrest comes after a 15-year-old boy was also arrested in connection to the attack but not as the attacker but someone who knew of it in advance.
The attack was ‘carried out’ as a form of a revenge plot ‘against Christians’ and to avenge Muslims and Palestinians everywhere according to several posts on the terror group’s news site.
