A terrifying story is emerging out of the tropical island Mauritius. According to reports, school lecturer Zaliya Shamigulova, 29, was found dead this weekend and it only got worse from there.

The Lowdown

According to a medical examiners report, Shamigulova reportedly had her tongue ‘cut out’ so she could not call for help. She was on a ‘Tinder Date’ with a man she met online who later turned out to be a psychopath.

The suspect has been identified as Puryavirsingh Sundur, 29,  an IT worker from the area. Multiple sources claim he has since acknowledged the grisly murder and even admitted to stabbing her senseless multiple times. Her dismembered body parts still have not been found by investigators.

Her remains were found in a shallow grave on the picturesque tropical island.
