Police in Germany are scouring the streets for a reported criminal accused of a mass stabbing attack. According to reports, the attacks occurred in the city of Solingen.

CNN reports that at least eight people were wounded two in serious condition. The unknown male assailant remains on the run and is wanted. Crowds and festival-goers had gathered in the Fronhof square to celebrate the festival of diversity at the time of the attacks. Police have reportedly determined that it was a deliberate attack.
