A North Korean solider in uniform at that has defected to South Korea in a new blow to Kim Jong Un ‘s tyrannical regime

Reuters reports a new defection out of North Korea. While not identified it is believed that a sargaent in uniform believed to be in his twenties successfully escaped Kim Jong Un ‘s hellish North Korea.

The Lowdown

The defection is causing a stir because it is the first defection of a service member in uniform in more than five years. During the pandemic, Jong Un notoriously kept policies and even made new ones that were meant to derail any and all defections. Some of those policies include placing intentional land mines in busy areas; cutting off access to the outside world, and even shoot-on-sight orders at the border.

Surprisingly, the unidentified soldier managed to make it on foot across the DMZ unnoticed.
