In politics, there are only so many times one can be a gift to the other party. In this case, JD Vance is learning the hard way that his past indeed has caught up with him.
The Lowdown
Despite how the GOP appears to make it seem publicly, in private Republicans including Vance are sweating Kamala Harris as ‘a real threat’ to the GOP. In case it couldn’t get worse it actually does and comes after a previous video unearthed found wildly sexist comments made by Vance at the time.
Republicans as evidenced by the comments from Vance caught on mic appear to have real concern over Kamala’s appeal to both the youth and the public. Harris’s recent efforts to reinvigorate her image mostly appear to be working.
According to the Washington Post, the Trump campaign’s damage control efforts aren’t entirely going to plan. GOPers appear to be in fear of Kamala Harris’s widespread appeal and support.
“The bad news is that Kamala Harris does not have the same baggage as Joe Biden, because whatever we might have to say, Kamala is allot younger,” the newspaper reported. And Kamala Harris is obviously not struggling in the same ways that Joe Biden did.”
