According to Axios, Google has done an about face following a previous shocking decision that the company would eventually ditch internet cookies all together in its flagship browser. The company has now reversed course entirely mostly after advertisers argued that by cancelling cookies, they’d have to spend more with Google ads which unfairly hurt them.
